Do I Absolutely Need a New Roof?

If you schedule Pond Roofing to inspect your roof, you can be guaranteed that we will provide you with a high level of service. Soon enough, you will know what to do next, how much it will cost, and the process for getting started.

In the event that a new roof is recommended, you may have a big question: is there any other option?

While it is possible to re-cover an existing roof, this is not something we recommend. There are many reasons for this including the fact that dry rot could be hiding underneath the old layer of shingles. Along with this, it could lead to a situation in which the new roof has an uneven appearance, and that is not something you want.

When removing your old roof, we will pay close attention to the existing decking material. If we see dry rot or any other issue, we will notify you and provide information on the necessary repair(s).

If you need a new roof, don’t look at this as an expense. Instead, consider it an investment in your home.
