• Window and vinyl siding damage: Your windows and vinyl siding aren’t immune to hail damage. These parts of your home won’t take as much direct impact as your roof, but they’re still at risk.

If a hail storm hits your area, wait for it to clear and then examine your home for damage. And of course, if you’re not comfortable doing this yourself, hire a professional to visit your property. This is often the better choice as it eliminates the risk of an accident, such as falling off a ladder when trying to reach your roof.
