How to Cut Your Grass for the Last Time of the Season

·      When temperatures dip below 50°F during the daylight hours, it typically means that grass will stop growing

·      The best grass height going into winter is between 2 and 2.5 inches

·      Even if it’s the last cut of the year, don’t remove more than one-third of the grass height in one mow

·      If necessary, spread out several cuts over a week or two to reach your desired height
