- Dark streaks: Airborne algae can cause dark streaks on your roof. While it may not cause harm, it drags down the curb appeal of your home.
- Your roof is at least 20 years old: Even though today’s asphalt shingles are produced to last, once the 20-year mark hits you’re closing in on the end of the life cycle.
