Ryan McLaughlin Memorial Golf Tournament
Pond Roofing & Exteriors is proud to have been a sponsor of the Ryan McLaughlin Memorial Golf Tournament benefiting The Young Hearts Foundation and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for many years.
In 2015, we installed a new roof for the McLaughlin family in Fairfax. When the job was completed, Prince McLaughlin gave an envelope to our estimator, Shanti. It was an invitation for Pond Roofing & Exteriors to get involved in the memorial golf tournament in honor of their son, Ryan. Pond’s owner Pat Readyhough went to the same high school as the McLaughlin kids and his wife grew up in their neighborhood.
After hearing the story of Ryan and the awesome Young Hearts Foundation his sisters created, Pat felt this was the perfect opportunity for Pond to get involved in a local charity. That first year Pond sponsored the hats for the tournament and asked Prince for opportunities to get involved with the students. And so was born a great partnership!

Student Visionaries of the Year – Leadership Team
Pond Roofing & Exteriors is a proud corporate partner of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year. Patrick Readyhough serves on the Northern Virginia Student Visionaries of the Year Leadership Team and has been involved in a variety of LLS programs.
Student Visionaries of the Year is a groundbreaking philanthropic leadership development program for high school students. Every year, courageous young leaders embark on an exciting seven-week journey with a goal to create a world without blood cancers, striving to earn the Student Visionary of the Year title.
Building Bat Habitats With Residents of Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads
This retirement community has a full wood shop for residents of the community to use for projects. They built bat houses to improve the habitat for the local bat population. Once the houses were built, they were dropped off with Pond Roofing & Exteriors, and our roofing mechanics fashioned metal roofs to all of them. Those roofs will last longer than the bat houses!

Pond Roofing & Exteriors is helping the youth in our community stay active by sponsoring multiple swim teams. We sponsor the Rutherford Area Swim Club and Truro Swordfish Swim Team.
