Why Certified Installation Matters
The manufacturer behind your door is only half the equation—how that door is fitted and sealed determines how it performs. As a ProVia Certified Installer, Pond Roofing’s factory-trained crews install every door to exact manufacturer standards. This ensures an airtight, weather-tight fit and eliminates warranty gaps, so you're never caught between the manufacturer and the contractor if your door ever needs attention.
Customization Options for ProVia French Doors
Personalize your French doors to balance natural light, privacy, and architectural style:
Glass Options: Pick clear glass for maximum light, privacy glass for obscured sightlines, or decorative glass for custom visual accenting.
Hardware and Handlesets: Tailor handle styles and metallic finishes to align with your home’s interior and exterior hardware.
HOA-Ready Documentation: We supply all product specs, color chips, and glass profiles needed to help you secure HOA approval before ordering.
Steel vs. Fiberglass French Doors: Which Material is Best for Homes in Northern Virginia?
Both steel and fiberglass offer long-term performance, but their material strengths suit different homeowner priorities:
Why Choose Steel?
Provides superior frame rigidity and heavy-duty security.
Gives an unmistakable feeling of solid quality and weight when opening and closing.
Available in smooth, durable painted finishes to suit classic or contemporary architecture.
Why Choose Fiberglass?
Stays completely stable through seasonal weather changes without warping or swelling.
Eliminates the risk of rust in high-moisture or damp outdoor environments.
Offers superior thermal insulation to block drafts and lower utility bills.

How Your Project Works: The Pond Proven Process
Replacing exterior doors shouldn't feel like a guessing game. The Pond Proven Process is a documented, step-by-step framework built around clear communication, careful installation, and long-term accountability.
It begins with an upfront consultation where we listen to what you need, evaluate your current openings, and explain your material options without high-pressure sales tactics or artificial deadlines. Once your project is scheduled, an experienced, factory-trained crew handles the installation. Most of the work takes place inside your home, where we lay drop cloths across all work zones, carefully remove old units, and fit your replacements to exact manufacturer standards.
Our team cleans and vacuums work areas daily and hauls away all job debris once the installation wraps up. After the crew leaves, our process continues with documented post-completion reviews and direct warranty support, giving you a clear, single point of contact if you ever have questions down the road.

Customer Reviews
Excellent service. Any question I had was addressed in a friendly yet professional manner. I have used Pond before for replacement windows and siding and most recently for new roofing. I highly recommend them for their responsiveness and the high quality of their work.
Easy communication with tons of photos and excellent job! Pond Roofing even came back to replace the color of the shingles to our satisfaction. The property was in McLean and they made me look great since my landlord client was very impressed. The swag cookies to our tenants was an added bonus. :-) Thanks so much!
Very fast initial response time and great customer service. Repair work was done (by prearrangement) while we had to be out of town and it looks great now that we are back. We have used Pond before and would call them first if we need roofing work in the future. Thanks!
Great communication, very professional repair crew. We have a new construction house that had some issues with vent seals after 10yrs and Pond fixed 8 different areas in one day--very happy with the work.
I recently hired Pond Roofing to check out a leak. They did a great job coming in on time and to troubleshoot the issue. Their pricing was competitive and overall service was excellent. I’m very happy with their work.
Pond Roofing was very responsive and knowledgeable about the condition of our roof. They delivered before the expected date and their work was impeccable. I cannot recommend working with Shanti enough.
Quality and Integrity. Terrific job on a roof repair. Called for a minor fix which was expertly accomplished. Patrick performed a complete inspection, ensuring no other damage or work needed. Perfect!
