How long does it take to replace my windows once the job is started?

It’s natural to have questions and concerns, especially if you’ve never tackled this project in the past.
Many homeowners shy away from this job, as they don’t like the idea of someone working on their home for an extended period of time. Fortunately, it doesn’t take that long to complete a replacement window project.
Once we take the necessary measurements and pin down the type of windows you want, we place the order and wait for them to arrive from the factory. From there, we work with you to schedule a time and day that works.
There are several factors that can impact how long it takes to replace your windows. These include but are not always limited to:
· Type of windows being removed
· Type of windows being installed
· How the current windows are installed
· Is any custom work needed?
Generally speaking, it takes approximately 30 minutes to remove an old window and install a new one. With this in mind, calculating how long the entire job will take is relatively easy.
So, if you have 10 windows, you should account for roughly 300 minutes, or a five-hour job. Again, the time it takes will depend on the number of windows needed and if any custom work is needed. On average, our team can complete 10-15 windows in a day.
While not always the case, most jobs take a single day to complete. If you can block this much time out of your schedule, it won’t be long before you’re enjoying your new windows.
