Even though we’re still in the winter months, it won’t be long before spring arrives. When this happens, warmer weather is sure to come along with it.
Once the cold is in the past (for good), it’s time to inspect your home to ensure that nothing went wrong during the winter season.
Here are three exterior areas of your home that you need to inspect this spring:
· Roof. It goes without saying that your roof is among the most important parts of your home. If something goes wrong here, it can have an impact on many parts of your property. So, once the weather breaks, be sure to inspect your roof or hire a professional to do so on your behalf.
· Siding. Did your siding make it through winter without any damage? Do you need to replace a few pieces of siding in the months to come? Do you need to replace all your siding? Depending on the age, it may be time for a change.
· Windows. Winter is the one time of the year when it’s easy to tell if your windows need replaced. If you dealt with cold air sneaking into your house over the last few months, it’s probably time to consider a replacement window project.
