Next contact a roofing professional to make an appointment, and tell them you have contacted your insurance agent.  Roofing professionals are accustomed to working with insurance companies and are able to judge whether the quote you have received is fair.

Generally when there is hail damage, storm chasers flock to neighborhoods offering “special” deals for the neighborhood.  While the offer may seem attractive and quite reasonable, please ask for credentials and references before accepting any such offer.  Storm chasers do just that:  they travel up and down the coast when bad weather hits, and they are gone as soon as they collect their money.  Do it right from the get go!
