Practical Storm Warning Advice

As we are heading into stormy weather, be prepared and proactive:

Make sure you gutters, drains and downspouts are clear;

Trim tree branches near your house and cut down surrounding dead trees;

Make sure your sump pump is operational;

Make sure valuables are removed from basement floors;

Make sure your phone and other battery-operated devices are charged and that you have an adequate supply of batteries;

Make sure you have plenty of bottled water;

Make sure your roof is in good condition.
